Applications for the 2019 Farm Apprenticeship will open in December
Ever wanted to learn how to run and maintain a small organic farm of animals and vegetables? This internship will teach milking goats, chicken care, turkey hatching and raising, vegetable production, soil development and composting, and other sustainable farming techniques. Each 4 hour session will include 2 hours of hand on instruction, a break, and 2 hours of a work project.
We will meet one Sat and/or Wed of each month Feb-Nov at 5 Fridges Farm. You may come to either or both monthly sessions if your schedule allows. Cost: FREE with a 50- hour work commitment or $500 per person for 10 months of sessions. (Work commitment spread out over time of internship.)
