Broccoli with Garlic Sauce
I made this during the cold snaps we had in February. I wasn't feeling like heavy food, but something nutritious that I would hit that "umami" taste when I am exhausted from Farm work and want takeout. This is a super quick and simple sauce that can also be made on the side and then added to veggies throughout the week. (I am not fond of leftover cooked veggies, so I steam or braise the broccoli for each serving and then toss in the sauce.) The best part is that this sauce tastes exactly like takeout broccoli and garlic and you can even dial to your level of heat by adding and upping the chili paste!
