You can hand chop and mix or start with the garlic and mint ( and dill) in a food processor - chop to fine and then add rest of ingredients. Great on salads as a dressing, with baba ganoush and pita, or Middle Eastern/ Greek prepared meats — gyro, kofta, etc.

Plan Do Eat


  • 16 oz (1 pint) plain yogurt
  • 2-3 small or 1 large cucumber (peeled, seeded, and finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 1-3 tbsp chopped mint (and/or dill - but I prefer mint)
  • 1-3 cloves garlic, finely chopped or pressed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
