Community Supported Agriculture is a model used to share the risks of farming between producers and consumers.
The consumer agrees to purchase 3 months of products at a time, which allows
- the producer to schedule production in such a way that the consumer gets fresh products
- the producer minimizes waste
- the producer can guarantee availability to the consumer all which help to keep costs down.
